Giving Hunger the Blues returns to Hillview St. on March 25 on Hillview Street, Southside Village from 12:00- 8:00 P.M. Giving Hunger The Blues is an all day family and charity block party. Live bands on two stages. Martial Arts and dance demos, games and activities for children, delicious food and beverages from local restaurants. All proceeds benefit the All Faiths Food Bank.

Admission is $5 (children 12 & under free).

Suncoast BBQ Bash - The 3rd Annual Suncoast Barbecue Bash will be held April 21st at the Venice Airport Festival Grounds. The event features a bbq & chili cook-off contest, kids games, live music ranging from bluegrass to country and oldies, and, of course, lots of great BBQ to buy and eat.

Hours are from 11AM - 7:30pm
Free admission & parking.
Proceeds from the Suncoast BBQ Bash benefit the Suncoast Foundation for Handicapped Children, Inc. For more information call 941-809-5232.
